Short and Breezy...

This is going to be a quick post because we are getting 50 mph gusts and power is out in one part of the town I was working in and branches were down and the kids were alarmed that their soccer goals had flipped. And to quote kid, "Ms. T, this is like Kansas!" I love that they know Wizard of Oz!!!

I was worried it was going to be a bad day as this is known as a tough  class in the school (5th grade) but they were actually pretty good. Only had a few kiddos off task and reading time was dead silent. I was armed and ready this morning but didn't have to be lol. I even brought Jolly Ranchers as a last case resort, but didn't need them, woohoo! Just needed the teacher look a few times.

I felt like this was me this morning and then didn't need the gear lol.
Alright, going to go before I get blown away. My cat is scared too, so I need to go snuggle with her and calm her down :(

  3. Hi! I saw your comment at The Inspired Apple about ways to help teachers who are victims of the recent tornadoes. There's a kindergarten teacher at http://kreativeinkinder.blogspot.com/ who is organizing a way to help if you're interested.
